School of Languages and Cultures – Dr Seán Williams

Seán Williams is a Vice-Chancellor’s Fellow in the School of Languages and Cultures.

In 2016 he was named as a BBC New Generation Thinker – an initiative launched by BBC Radio 3 and the Arts and Humanities Research Council to find the brightest minds from across the UK who have the potential to transform their research into engaging broadcast programmes.

Seán teaches on enlightenment and romanticism, contemporary Swiss-German literature and on cultural theory.
