Human Communication Sciences – Meesha Warmington

Meesha Warmington is a Psychologist and a Lecturer in the Department of Human Communication Sciences. She is also a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy – a scheme that celebrates excellent practice and outstanding achievement in learning and teaching in higher education.

Meesha’s research examines executive control (i.e., attention, working memory and cognitive flexibility) and language and literacy development in bilingual children and adults.

She recently investigated cognitive-linguistic processing in Hindi/Urdu speaking children living in the UK and India
